If you are experiencing a life-threatening emergency, call 9-1-1 as soon as possible.

If you are experiencing a mental health, substance use, or suicidal crisis and need immediate assistance, please contact one of these crisis lines for help (many of which are open 24/7):

  • Call or text the new 9-8-8 Crisis Line to be connected with trained crisis counselors who are available 24/7/365. A counselor will be available to speak with you and connect you with services in your area.

  • In King County, call the King County Crisis Line at 1-866-4CRISIS (1-866-427-4747).

  • In Snohomish County, call the Snohomish County Crisis Line at 800-584-3578.

  • In Pierce County, call the Crisis Line of Pierce County at 800-576-7764.

  • The Crisis Text Line serves anyone, in any type of crisis, providing access to free, 24/7 support via a medium people already use and trust: text. Just text ‘HOME’ to 741-741 to be connected to a trained crisis counselor.

  • Youth of Color can text ‘STEVE’ to 741-741 to be connected to a trained crisis counselor.

  • Native peoples affected by domestic or dating violence can call StrongHearts Native Helpline at 844-762-8483 from 9 am to 5:30 pm Monday through Friday for culturally appropriate help.

  • LGBT+ youth experiencing suicidal thoughts or needing crisis intervention can call The Trevor Project at 866-488-7386 anytime.

  • Transgender individuals individuals experiencing a crisis can call the Trans Lifeline at 877-565-8860. The line is primarily staffed by transgender folx.
